 Kitty
suddenly became ill early in July 1997. She then died of a stroke on
July 9, 1997. I Abraxas (Abby) WhiteCat will with the help of Ebony
BlackCat run these web pages in loving memory of Kitty GreyCat.

I'm Kitty GreyCat, and, yes, I am a real cat. I'm very old and
stubborn. So when I pick a site of the month, I don't want any
argument. I will allow you to submit candidates and vote for your
favorite sites. Of course, you can vote for yourself! And you don't
have to have cats to be considered, any and all websites are
eligible. Don't worry about any deadlines. If any sites get
nominated or voted for and it is past the current deadline, I will
put them in for next month. Eligibility is good from the date you
were first nominated. At the end of the year, one of our twelve
winners will be favored with my pick of the year. I, Kitty, make the
final determination of who the winner is. I have no magic formula.

 I Kitty GreyCat have many places to nap. Catnapping is an art.
I know how to do it so very well that you wouldn't believe it. My
favorite catnapping places are many and varied. And no cats were
harmed in my description of my personal art form. The human made me
say that, because he was worried by what you might think. Meow,
anyway. I like to nap on top of his leather brief case. It feels so
good after a long day of catnapping. I like the cable box on top of
the TV. It is so very nice and warm. I like it hot, hot as can be. I
am a great grandma cat, you know. I like closed-in places too. I
sleep under the bathroom sink in the cabinet. I sleep in the bedroom
closet nestled in the things on the floor. I nap in the main closet
full of smelly shoes and boots. I catnap in any drawers left open. I
once got into the kitchen cabinet and liked the feel of china on my
napping cat form. I like to catnap on human bean's computer, but he
doesn't like it much. The keyboard is so good on my bones, you know.
I sleep in human bean's lap every chance I get. He's so warm and
pets me too. I sleep between the dual tires on human's truck. No one
can see me, but I see the squirrels and lizards clearly. I have so
many more places to catnap, but I'm [YAWN] tired now. Time for
another catnap in the laundry basket full of clean clothes!
I Kitty GreyCat have received a lot of email praising me for my
award. Thank you. Also many of you want to know more about me. I was
the best kitten of the litter. Aren't I full of myself? I went to
work at Leo's Amoco service station in Ohio. Leo is my human fella's
father. Anyway, my job was to catch critters who were getting into
the chips and candy. I did my job very well. The humans always threw
my success stories on top of the roof. Those skeletons are probably
still there. After seven years of hard work, I retired to my human
fella brother's place. I stayed at Leo's place on the same five-acre
lot. I couldn't stand the babies and the big dogs at brother Tony's
place. Finally, my human fella asked me to run his house. I have
been everywhere and done everything with my human fella. He would be
lost without me. He really irritated me when he brought home a
little black kitten called Ebony. I slap Ebony around to keep her in
place. I am the boss queen cat and write my own monthly article in
The Marathon Journal. That's all for now. I have to go find Ebony
and knock the snot out of her. If she ever realizes she is twice as
big as me, I'm in big trouble!
