It does not matter what breed it is or how long their official name they crawl into our hearts and stay And our life is not the same
There are cats for every one With good temperaments or bad But the best one that is available Is your own companion cat******************************************** "Claw-clipping"I am going to find a place to hide Because it is claw clipping day It is not that I really mind so much It is just that I want to play
I saw my boss look at my paws After I wanted her attention The scratch I did not mean to give Really got a mention
I watched her get the clippers out And decided it was time to run A cat with claws that can't be seen Does not have a lot of fun
I like to scratch my favorite tree And sometimes I attack the chair To let it know, it belongs to me When the boss is not sitting there
I am sitting in my hiding spot And watch my boss come this way She heard my purr and is picking me up! Oh well….. Today is claw-clipping day******************************************** "Fish"I have decided I hate fresh fish From now on, I will have only meat No matter how empty my belly might feel That is all I will ever eat
I will be a cat with a singular taste No fish on the menu for me Any fish on my plate, I will cover up Making sure that my boss does see
Fish in a pond can not be trusted They invited me to give them a pat I told my boss so when she caught me at it But she was not having any of that
That fish deliberately tried a big jump Landing in the grass at last It did not have to wriggle and squirm As my boss was walking past
I have decided I hate fresh fish This cat will eat only meat No matter if I have to starve to death That is all I will ever eat******************************************** "Hide and Seek"Little Burmese I see you running Do you want to play your game? You love the game of hide and seek You hide and I will seek you
You are very good at hiding By now I know all your hiding spots Or are you going to surprise me And find new places to hide
Little Burmese I am looking Going to look in the lounge room first No, there is no little brown cat You are very clever today
I see a brown tail sticking out Behind the armchair in the corner I am slowly sneaking up to you There you are, running again!
Two golden eyes looking up at me Now you are sitting at my feet So I will pick you up and hug you My lovely Burmese cat******************************************** "Gardening"I raked the leaves in the garden today My dear friend was helping me Running madly after the dried up leaves That happened to fly free
I raked the leaves in a very big heap My dear friend was helping too Biting the leaves, to make sure that they stayed It was so much effort to do
I picked up the leaves, to take them away My dear friend was by my side Pouncing on each dry leaf that I dropped Taking it away to hide
We raked the leaves in the garden today We had much fun with that Now we are sitting relaxed in the sun Me and my friend, My catView a Synopsis of This Work | Order This Work | |
