Synopsis VISIONS OF LIFE by L. E. Shaffer US Library of Congress Copyright: TXu 855-636
Visions of Life is L. E. Shaffer's second collection of poetry. This collection reflects L. E. Shaffer's growth as a writer and poet. Guest poets offer samples of their work as well, but the majority of the poetry is the author's. The poetry evokes images of life and feelings of raw emotions. There are lines of mysticism showing up in the most recent poems, as the influence of the Ao series of novels affects the poet's style. Highlights include the popular science fiction poem called 4th Rock which had been writen for a friend. The last poem Darkly Writes the Night is an ode to all artists everywhere. This latest poetry collection is definitely a jewel pleasing to the eye and soothing to the soul.
