The Book of Prophecies is the most important of the twelve
books and the most ancient and revered. All history past, present, and future is
foretold in this book. Kalian priests spend thousands of years of their life
studying the runes to discern the prophecies. Yet sometimes the prophecies are
only clearly understood after they have happened. Each lifeforce in the Kalian
population is considered a prophet and thus obligated to report their
dreams/visions to their local priests. So the Book of Prophecies continues to
grow to this present age.
An open invitation is extended to any literary artist who would like to
help write the twelve books of the Runes of Ao/Kale. You would be credited for
any work but all creative property would be exclusively owned by Shaffer
Novels/Poetry Company. No one makes any money off this project as all the output
will be exclusively published on this website. Go HERE!

Sonesa 183
Sonesa is Kalian for race memory and used here like we use the
human word chapter.
And the sun darkened in the reckoning of the moons. The ancients see the stars
and feel the evil. More and more lives are being thrown into the jaws of
darkness. More are to surely come. The season goes on and on. The fire spreads
into a conflagration engulfing even the multitude. O, Ao! How the tears fall.
Again and again. The moment is not far, but surely it comes. The creature of the
light begets an animal unawares and sees a kindness in its own way. The animal
claws and scratches. Protecting its own. It dives and soars drawing away the
predator. See how the sun wanes. The dark of the moons is upon them, but the sun
rises again after a season. A season of Ao. The season after the tears of Ao
fall... What might be. What can be. The animal could end it all with an attack
on the dark frontier, but Ao ordains more rain to fall. The ancients have seen
the young hunt in excitement tasting the blood... the meat... blood.
And the sun faltered in the dim setting of the moons. For the blood speaks
out to none that hear, to none with minds to understand, to none who yet live.
Those that were are comforted in their past. Those in the present are terrorized
by the living. And the future is only bought with the dusk falling like violent
rain on the peaceful plains. During the long night the animals play. They hunt
and see the shine in the prey's eyes. And the dust is stirred by their death, by
the continuing cycle of life. Even the old are moved to hunger. While the night
wickedly plays, the dark delights in its own way. Then the mountains catch the
first few rays of morn. The moons are forced away. The path to the mountains is
revealed. The way is open. And yet we live another day.
6Can you not buy five sparrows for two pennies? And yet not
one is forgotten in God’s sight.7Why, every hair on your head has been
counted. There is no need to be afraid: you are worth more than many sparrows.8‘I
tell you, if anyone openly declares himself for me in the presence of human
beings, the Son of man will declare himself for him in the presence of God’s
angels.9But anyone who disowns me in the presence of human beings will be
disowned in the presence of God’s angels.10‘Everyone who says a word against
the Son of man will be forgiven, but no one who blasphemes against the Holy
Spirit will be forgiven.
